Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My brother got stopped for a fix-it ticket yesterday. And, while the officer ran his ID he found out that he had a warrant. The officer didn't arrest him though, he instead gave my brother a ticket to come to court. What's going to happen at court? Is he going to be booked?

Without knowing much more than you provided it is impossible to give you and informed answer. You did not state what the original charge involved. Since the officer only gave him a notice to appear in court, the original offense appears to have been a misdemeanor.
