Re: burglary

This is a situation that I would strongly suggest hiring an experience criminal attorney such as myself. The DA can at anytime amend the complaint if they have reason to believe it is a felony.

You should talk to your family and hire a lawyer immediately. This is not a situation that you want to haunt you for a long time.

Call my office at your earliest convenience if you want to discuss it further.

Re: burglary

She's going to ask you if you have a lawyer. Hopefully your answer will be yes. If it isn't and if you can't afford a lawyer, she will tell you how to get a public defender. If you can afford a lawyer she will probably give you more time to find one.

As Mr. Hale says, you should not try to handle this on your own.

Good luck.

Re: burglary

Ditto to prior answers...whats important is what the DA thinks ( are they thinking felony charges or only misdemeanors)and how good is your counsel. Obtain counsel ASAP
