busted on the freeway
i was driving a friends car who was not on probation, but the reason for the stop was a probation search, how can this be? The cops new I was on probation but they did not know what kind of car i was. would you say i was set up up?

Re: busted on the freeway
Maybe, but I'm not sure why it matters. Officers may have seen you get into the car and then arranged for you to be stopped later, but there is nothing wrong with such actions.
If you're asking whether the owner of the car set you up, then I don't know how to answer. There are many possible explanations of the officer's knowledge that you were in the car. It's possible, for example, that an officer who saw you driving by recognized you and arranged for the stop.
