Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
ca extridition
what are the chances that CA will follow through on a extridition hold on a none violent crime? My husband is being held in OR and CA has a hold on him on a warrent issued in 2002 for possession of stolen property. He has served time for a PV in 2005 and never extridited, why now or could they be just threatening? Please any advise I would appreciate. Thank you!

Re: ca extridition
If your husband is being held now California has a limited amount of time, after his case in Oregon is finished, to pick him up or he has to be released. The warrant may say whether it is an extradictable warrant or not.
You may want to talk to an attorney in the county that the warrant came from to find out more information about that particular warrant.
Good luck,
