Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Under cal. new realignment law.. would i qualify for that or not?
im on probation from a 211 that happened in 09. i got in trouble again later in 09 the da didnt press charges till a year later. (10)
so i stoped reporting to probation it was a shoplifting charge & lying to cops about who i was. nothing violent or "too serious". so now i have warents. i have finally decided to get my life together i have not been in any trouble since then. i know they changed the law last year in dec. about sending people to county instead of prison for less serious crimes would i qualify for that or not being the charges are from 09, 10?

It would probably apply to you. It does not apply to people currently serving prison terms.
