Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
In California, doctors make medical marijuana recommendations to patients (who then bring the card to dispensaries). Is it legal for these doctors to make these recommendations over Skype?

I'm not sure I understand the question. But a doctor can legally make a recommendation for medical marijuana in any way they desire, whether it be oral or written. Upon proof of that recommendation it will be accepted by any state court in California when the receiver of the recommendation is charged with an offense for which a medical recommendation is a defense. However there is no requirement that a dispensary accept a particular recommendation.
