Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
California law says it's a $100.00 fine for less than an ounce of marijuana with no criminal record. Does that mean felonies or any type of criminal record?

Except as authorized by law, every person who possesses not more than 28.5 grams of marijuana, other than concentrated cannabis, is guilty of an infraction punishable by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100). (Health & Safety Code, section 11357, subd. (b).)
I don't know what your question is concerning a criminal record. It is treated as an infraction.
