Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
So i let a so called friend use my motorcycle for day and he didnt return it its been 3weeks , so since i gave permission to use cant report stolen. Was told to send a certified "unauthorized use of a motor vehicle"letter but thing is he has no permanet address and i heard he painted bike yellow. what can i do?

If you loan a vehicle to someone and they refuse to return it is stolen. You can also sue in civil court for conversion (the value of the motorcycle) or replevin (which is an order for the sheriff to go seize the vehicle and give it to you.)
