Hello. Good for you for wanting to clear up your warrant. Living in fear is no way to live, and once you clear it up, you will feel better. You mentioned a code section. Did you mean H+S 11378? Which Courthouse is it? What year were you placed on probation?
You are obviously in violation of your probation with a bench warrant for your arrest having been issued. The good news is that, if what you say is true, then you have a very good argument to make to the Judge, whom will be the ultimate decision maker on what to do with you. The desired result would be to have your probation reinstated on the original terms and conditions (whatever they may have been) and to have your probation transfered to where you are (which is not always possible but can be done with a lot of work).
The procedure of clearing up your problem would require you to come to the court for an appearance, have an interview with the probation officer, go back to the court and get the desired result after making the argument before the judge. This is all assuming that you ARE in fact on formal probation.
The good news is that it CAN be done. Catherine Lombardo (909)482-0384
