Carrying a concealed weapon

Please tell me if someone is driving and is stopped by the police and has a loaded gun in his car and in his pocket does not have a record but was in the navy for one year

and presently working as a guard

will he get jail time

"Could" get jail??? Maybe, first they need an attorney to review the police reports for issues, if it is a misdemeanor there could be a chance to negotiate a dispo w/o jail...they still need an attorney.

On most misdemeanors judges have discretion on jail time. No attorney can tell you whether you will actually receive time or not. I would generally guess it depends on what court and what judge you are in front of and how good your attorney is.

My office has had success with this in the past and would be willing to discuss this charge with you now.
