Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
If I'm currently going thru a case but haven't been convicted am I able to go to Mexico and come back with no problem? Even when I just got an ordered release from a judge?

Is it a felony case or misdemeanor? Did you post bail? I am not sure what you mean by 'an ordered release'... does that mean O.R. (own recognizance) release? (no bail)
Generally it is not illegal as far as I know to leave, as long as you are back for any court appearance at which your presence is mandated (generally, all of them on a felony case) ... unless not leaving the state or country was expressly stated by the Judge as a condition of bail or O.R. release, of course. However, if you have a contract with a bail bondsman, it may be a violation of that contract. If you have an attorney, ask him or her the conditions of your release. Good luck!
