Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
A case dismissed?
Which looks better on your record? A case dismissed by DA before it goes to trial or a defendant found not guilty following a jury trial?

Re: A case dismissed?
For MY record I would rather win a jury trial! But the -defendant- is better off in terms of money, stress, time (jail time if in custody) if the case goes away before trial. If you are asking how does it look to a future employer, probably about the same (should not be reported).
