in a case where a person is caught on camera commiting a crime is a sesslin affidavit needed for a conviction or will the footage convict the defendant?

A Sesslin affidavit is the declaration or affidavit showing probable cause for the arrest to support a criminal complaint. It is not necessary for conviction. Conviction gets done at trial with witnesses and evidence.
