I was caught in california shoplifting a second time i am on probation for 3 years i paid my fines and completed my communiy service on my first offense.

I presume your question is, what could happen to you..You said you are currently on probation, so you have a potential probation violation. On a P/V, you could face any time, up to the time remaining on the initial case, minus the time you may have already done when you admitted that charge, or were found guilty. As to the new charge, you could be facing a petty with a prior, and as a felony, you could be facing upto 3 years in prison. You really need to speak to a highly qualified attorney in your area.
