Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I was just caught by an officer with marijuana. He let me off telling me that he is going to call me tomorrow to come and see him, and I either have to give up 3 people to him, or be charged with possesion and intent to sell. What should I do? I live in california where i have my medical merijauna card. can i possibly avoid the charges?

Don't speak to him again. Tell him you have nothing to say to him without an attorney present. Never speak to the police or consent to any type of search.

Mr. Stone is right. You cannot avoid the charges, but you can fight them, especially if you have a card from the Medical Marijuana Program.
