Nobody can give you an informed answer with so little information and you shouldn't post more details on the Internet where everyone can read them.

In order to be convicted of a felony, the prosecution would have to prove you did something that went beyond arguing, such as injuring him (even slightly),using a weapon or force that was likely to cause serious injury, or threatening to kill him.

However, even a misdemeanor domestic violence conviction can cause immigration problems.

You need personal help from a lawyer, not advice from a stranger on the Internet. If you are charged with a crime and can't afford to hire you own attorney, the judge will appoint one when you go to court. In the meantime, you may be able to get assistance from a local agency that helps abused women.
