Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

How do I go about changing my decision to waive my preliminary hearing. My public defender convinced me that it would be best.

It is very rare for any lawyer to waive the preliminary hearing, so I have to think he/she had a very good reason for doing it. I would be hesitant to overrule his decision without a very good talk with him and understanding why. Resist the temptation to think your legal skills and judgment are better than his.
