Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

what do different charge descriptions mean

i need to find out what different charge descriptions mean so i can know what my friend got charged with... but the only information i can get is the code of the charge description. for example, one of the charges is HS11377(A)

the other ones are:

HS11359(A)

VC1460.1(A)

VC22500(A)

does anyone know what these charges mean? or do you know a website where they can tell me what it means?
