1 Answer from Attorneys
Burglary basically defined as the entry into a place(business or residence), with the intent to commit a felony or larceny therein. So if the police believe they have evidence that shows you entered the hotel or the hotel room with the intent to commit a felony or larceny therein, they could charge you. It's your attorney's job to see if law enforcement really has that or if there are legal problems with the case against you. That is why you should immediately contact a qualified criminal defense attorney in or near your area to have a consultation and go over all the facts.
