Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
i was charged embezzlement under $400 and my court is on yhe 29th. I did not have a formal arrest. Im going to take a live scan (fingerprinting) for employment on Tuesday, will it show on the result that i have a case ongoing? I really need this job, so please help me what to do.

Once a case if filed against you either civil or criminal it becomes public record unless it is a juvenile, paternity, or other confidential type case.
These days with technology the way it is, it will probably come up that there is a criminal case filed but I don't know what is reported by the livescan / DOJ/ background checks.
