Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I am being charged for going to an FBI child porn sting website and having nine videos on my computer. First off I had roommates but, I was the only one on the least. I want to know how to argue this case I was told this is a Federal Crime that should be in a Federal Court but, I am fighting in a state court. Can I use this to somehow get it thrown out or reduce to a smaller crime that I am fighting? They are saying since the website was base in another state they mark it down as trying to bring child porn over state lines.

You should get a lawyer. Don't try to do this on your own. You have too much at stake and too little knowledge to represent yourself. Don't speak with the authorities until you have a lawyer. If you have been talking to them, hopefully you haven't already caused irreparable damage to your case,
Haven't you learned anything from your experience of getting busted for a Internet crime?
If you've already been charged, you have a lawyer, whether it's a public defender appointed by the court or someone you hired yourself.
Your conversations with your lawyer are confidential. Postings on a public website -- which are visible to everyone on Earth, including the prosecution -- are not.
Your lawyer has access to all the facts of your case and is in a better position to advise you than a stranger on the Internet.
And when you hire a lawyer, make sure you get someone (hint) who knows what IP addresses are, and how to challenge the government's technical experts.
