Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
i was charged with felony forgery and grand theft of over $400.00 and i was offered 3 years felony probation with no jail time. i asked if i could do a drug program and they had me come back to court for connference with a probation officer. they put me in custody and my attorney asked if i can have one day to tie up loose ends at home and i was to turn myself in the next day but didnt. can i ask for the original offer they gave me? 3 years felony probation with no jail time?

You can ask for it, but they don't have to give it to you. It sounds like a great deal that you rejected with an offer of your own that had nothing to do with the case.
