Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Ive been charged with stalking ( cyber ) , I did not threaten ( directly ) nor have I commited any other criminal act associated with the crime. I believed the person in contact was somebody else in which as it turns out is not ( mistaken identity ) am I still in jeopady of this remaining a felony ?? I do have legal counsel

If I follow your question - you're charged with a number of felony crimes, but it was because your directed your comments at the wrong person?

And you say you already have legal counsel...

So the first question is: Why are your questions not directed to your attorney? That's why you're paying them. They also currently know more about the case than a single paragraph posted on the internet. Now, if your attorney is not/cannot answer your questions and you're seeking a new lawyer, then you may want to find a local criminal defense attorney to sit down face to face with and discuss your case.

I'm not trying to be flippant, but you're asking about potential outcomes of your situation when we know nothing of what the entire picture is.
