Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
have charges been dismissed?
a friend of mine is in jail with 3 misdemeanors and 3 felonies, on his report 5 of them say -dism furth. of justice- does this mean that all charges have been dismissed?

Probably YF copped a plea to one charge, and the rest got tossed.

No. It means that five of the six charges have been dismissed but suggests that your friend pled guilty to the last one. That isn't necessarily what happened but it is the most likely explanation.
