Charges Dropped, Bail Returned
I was arrested and all charges were dismissed but before i had already lost 1,000 for bail. should i be refunded this amount? is there a way that i can get my money back for false imprisonment?

You certainly can bring a claim for civil false imprisonment, violation of rights, and other civil wrongs, but these cases are difficult to win and may be subject to the government claims statute.
