Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
about a child
my little 10 year old sister lives with me I have guardianship. Her teacher tried to put her up for adoption and had a family come to see her at the school never notifying me of her intentions and without my permission. Do I have a case against the teacher or the school? I called the police but they said she had done nothing illegal. Thank you

Something is missing from this story. A teacher has no authority to put a child under someone else's guardianship up for adoption. Why does this teacher think she can do so? Does she have some connection to the girl besides being her teacher?
