Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Clayton Motion
Please tell me what is the Clayton Motion and who might be eligible for such a motion. My sister was convicted of some charges years ago and before doing all of here sentenced time, she ran away. She has since then, turned her life around and is a good, law abiding citizen. She never committed any violent crimes. The charges were drug related and some white collar crimes involving fraudulent check writing. She has been drug free and a productive member of society for years now.

I searched both state and federal databases and was unable to find any mention of a clayton motion. Further I have not heard of this motion.
