Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

i dont clear the the background check and as far as i know my record is clean

my cases were dimissed !when i applied for a job i was turned down because of the background check they didnt know details and neither do i how do i find out whats going on i have never been in trouble with the law besides the 2 cases that were dismissed and exahnorated

You need to get court documentation regarding your cases and determine for sure what they say. Get certified copies of the court docket describing the resolution of your cases. If the cases were dismissed for insufficient evidence or you expunged them following conviction, your next step would be to deal with the databases which provided wrong information to the employers. You would need to make sure that any misinformation or mistakes are cleaned up so you do not run into the same problem again.

Alternatively, you could retain an attorney to do this for you. It might save you a big headache and might be more effective in the end.

I would need to expunge the records. If you only had an arrest, I will need to seal your arrest record.
