How Can I Clear my Record?

Back in year 2000. I went to court to served my jury duty. There was a piece of metal inside my bag. I was arrested and the judge dismissed the case later on. I need to find out how can i wipe out the record, eventhough the case was dismissed, it still shows on my record.

please help

The record shows the arrest and that charges were filed but no conviction. The D. A. probably dropped the charges after speaking to you. I believe there's a way to have the arrest striken from the record. However, I'll have to look it up again. It's been awhile since I've answered this question for another person.
