Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
cold case
I was watching cold case and was wondering if a kid that is 12 years old kills somebody. Then 40 years later they get caught, would the person be charged as an adult or child.

Re: cold case
I know people who do nothing but watch true-murder shows and 48 Hours re-runs and Cold Case Files and Law and Order, all day every day, instead of having a life. If this describes you, you are watching too much TV. And you won't get on my jury.
The answer to your question depends on the law of whatever state is prosecuting the offender. I have heard of cases where they had to prosecute the old geezer as a juvenile.
