Using the company credit card in

IA crminal invesigator came to my house to asked me about credit cards charges that I had on the company card in my last job that I was fired.I think I will be charge with embesselment-using company charge card-but I don't know the amount and if I will be charged with a misdeameanor or felony. In California, what are the dollar limits for the charges and can you direct me to an attorney that may be able to help me?

It is a felony if over $ 500.00. However, it may be prosecuted either way as there is a dignificant amount of discretion. Get representation immmediately. Contact me directly.

The amount for a felony in California is $400.00 or above. It may be advantageous to retain an attorney to try to resolve the situation with your former employer before the case gets turned over to the District Attorney's Office.
