consent to use medical records
if I signed a release of medical records to a cop and then found they were going to use it to convict my boyfriend can I revoke that release

You can certainly try. It would probably be helpful if an attorney attempted to revoke the release on your behalf, perhaps on the grounds that you were misled and tricked into giving it in the first place. I am not sure whether, ultimately, you could stop the cops from using the records against your boyfriend, even if he has not been convicted yet. Sounds like you are talking about a domestic violence situation . . .
