consequences for a minor in possession of alcohol.

i recent recieved a citation for a being a minor in possession of alcohol but i was not driving nor was i in any vehicle. im going to go court soon and i was wondering what could happen as consequences for me and if they are going to suspend my liscence is there any way i can fight it??? thankyou

As a minor you are not ever supposed to be in possession of alcohol. Just because you were not driving does not mean you can't be cited. You are confusing this charge with DUI. In either case your driver's license could be in jeopardy. Call us at 1-800-327-4652 for immediate assistance.
