Are there any consequences for taking a drug test for someone else in the state of California for the court?

YES. The exact charges would depend upon the district attorney's office. I would expect that they will take this conduct very seriously, and will prosecute this conduct vigorously. The charges could include fraud, forgery, aiding and abettinf, and/or interfering with a police investigation. It is not worth the risk.
