Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
when is it considered harassment?
I have to children with my ex-husband, who recently got full custody of my children. I have visitation.I'm trying to call and talk to my children, he keeps hanging up the phone or not answering the phone at all. If i keep calling hoping he will answer is it considered harassment.

Re: when is it considered harassment?
I have the same problem as you do, and the California courts seem to do a poor job in recognizing and dealing with alienating parents. Possibly you could file a motion requesting a certain time for telephone contact, or an order to show cause re: contempt. Good luck!
Re: when is it considered harassment?
P.S. Keep a detailed diary of dates and times when you attempt to call, including what happened (hang-up, call duration etc.), this will help immensely in any future court involvement.
