Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
contributing to minors
my husband allows his younger cousins to drink at the house, he is on court probation and has got in trouble for alcohol related things before. He got custody of his 3 teenage kids and is not thinking about the consequences of what he is doing. I have left the home with our kids because I cannot deal with it any longer. could you tell me what the punishment is for contributing or allowing this while on court probation

Re: contributing to minors
The penalty for probation violation will depend upon several factors: 1. the original charges, 2. his prior history, 3 the judge and other factors regarding the cousins.
The current criminal charges arising from this conduct may well be much more serious than the probation violation.
