Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Copies of Court Documents

I do I go about getting copies of papers filed with the court that are in archive and I don't live in the same state. The court has told me that there are 11 boxes of court documents and I would have go through them myself to retrieve the papers and I live out of state.

Re: Copies of Court Documents

Some process servers, private investigators and some other such persons will go to court and request copies for you. Generally they will not search through the file for specific documents. You might be able to find an attorney that will search the file for you.
