Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

So a couple of weeks ago i found out that one of my friends had taken the number from my debit card and ordered stuff online , I called the company to see were the package had been shipped too and only to find out that it had been shipped to my friends house ,I of course asked her and she denied it too me what legal action can i do ?

If this is really a friend, they should fess up to you, otherwise, they aren't really your friend. If you can't resolve it with that person, you need to file a report with the local police agency and request prosecution. As part of any deal that would be reached with the DA by that person, assuming that the DA bothered to file a case, would be restitution back to you of the amount of money that was removed from your account.
