Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Do I have to go to court
I was arrested on a warrant for domestic violence in San Joaquin county but the warrant was from Santa Barbara county. While in jail I was told that they had five days for the county of Santa Barbara to pick me up. They didn't pick me up and I was released from jail. When I was released they told me that I would have to be at court in Santa Barbara county on a certain date. Shouldn't the charges have been dropped since they didn't pick me up?

No. It just means that they did not pick you up.

Incase I was not clear, I was saying that the charges are NOT dropped and YOU MUST go to court.
