i am court ordred to prop 36 in san luis obispo county, ca. my question is, what would be my sentence should i decide to max out in county jail? my charge was possetion of a controlled substence. i have only had any prior trouble 9 and a half years ago. thank you

The maximum you can serve in county jail for any offense is one year. If you're on prop 36 for a felony possession charge, then you can potentially face state prison - up to 3 years.

If your prior was a strike, then the prison maximum doubles.
