Can the court ask you to wait for your pre trial hearing, so your co-defendant to cach up, when the co defendant was realeased based on a plea bargin by the time pretrial actually happens?

The clerk was merely carrying out the order of the judge. For some reason the wanted to keep you and the co-defendant together through sentencing.
