Courtroom audience

As a dismissed juror, am I allowed to come back and sit in the audience and observe?

You should be, unless you are still on jury duty and are supposed to be in the jury room or hearing another case.

Courtroom proceedings are open to the public. Once you are no longer on jury duty, you are just like any other member of the public as far as the courts are concerned.

I should add that there is a rare exception in trade secret cases. The public is not allowed to observe the portions of such cases in which trade secrets are discussed. If such proceedings were open to the public, it would be impossible to preserve the secret nature of the information.
