Criminal Law question
is it fair to assess the same degree of fault and imposes the same punishment on an accomplice as on a perpetrator?

The law in this area has been seen as a vehicle to discourage the aid of others in helping to bring criminal activity to fruition.
Whether it is fair or not needs to give way to effectively advocating on behalf of the accomplice given the facts presented if it is approriate under the circumstances.
