Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Criminal restraining order lift

My husband and I want to reconcile. He has a criminal restraining order ''no contact'' against him for Domestic Violence. How do I change this? Will there be a formal hearing? Also, how does this affect his case (still pending)? Can someone help us with this please?

Re: Criminal restraining order lift

If he is on probation contact his probation officer and explain the situation. If he is still appearing in court to report in his progress in taking the domestic violence classes go to court with him and ask the judge to change the terms of the restraining order to allow peaceful contact. You can retain an attorney if you wish to proceed quickly or have trouble getting the restraining order modified.
