Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

If I am cuaght passing a counterfeit 100n dopllar note to a store by the police (I claim I didn;t knwo it was counterfeit when I passed it), they confront me and ask to search me, and find nothing else incriminating (e.g. other counterfeit notes), would they still arrest me?

California law prohibits attorneys from assisting people in committing crimes. I'm not stupid enough to risk my livelihood to advise you, even if you're stupid enough to risk your freedom for a hundred bucks.

California law prohibits attorneys from advising people how to commit crimes.

If you're stupid enough to risk your freedom for a hundred bucks, you'll have to do it on your own because no lawyer with a teaspoon of brains will risk his or her state bar membership to help you.
