daughter arrested attempted robbery
nothing was stolen this was more of a fighting insident not theft but when the police showed up she ran so whatever the witness says seems believable because the police said she ran so she must be guilty she is being held in juvenile hall right now till wednesday when she appears before the judge what will happen she has no prior record of any violence she is 16yrs old bday nov 21. 1992 the probation officer said they can hold her another 2 wks after hearing what action should i be taking to try to help my daughter i am on low income and they will let her have a attorney through the courts the police said it all happened in seconds but two boys were there at the time as witness . I know nothing about the girl or what happened to her the police did not say charges were being pressed or if she was injured how do i find out this information? please help me

Your only and best option is to make sure there is a competent lawyer on the case. If you cannot afford private counsel, go with the court appointed one. Only a lawyer who has completely familiarized him/herself with the details of the case can advise you on what can be done.
