Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My daughter recently plead guilty to felony grand theft in Idaho. She now faces felony grand theft charges in California for a different incident. The amount of theft is about 40k from a former employer. What kind of sentence can she expect???

No attorney can give you an intelligent answer without a complete review of all the evidence. The situation is especially complex due to the recent plea in Idaho, and whether that offense occurred before or after the one in California.
Your daughter needs a lawyer -- whether it's a public defender or someone she hires herself -- not poorly-informed advice from a stranger on the Internet.
