Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My daughter spends 50% of her time with her father. He has 50% legal and 50% physical custody of her. My daughter's father has a roommate who has the same name as a man listed on Megans Law as a sexual offender. In addition, this man drives my daughter in her father's car. My daughter's father did not ask for identification of this man before he moved in and became his tenant/roommate. I am concerned. I asked my daughter's father for this man's drivers license information. My daughter's father is refusing to give it to me. How can I legally obtain this information? What are my legal rights as a parent?

If you expressed to the father of your child your specific concerns and he is not being cooperative, you should have an attorney go into court on an Ex Parte basis to immediately restrict visitation over at that house until such time as it is shown that this roommate is not the same person that is listed on Megans Law as a sexual offender.
