Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

my daughter has been subpenaed to court in a molestation . it is a peliminary hearing

if the judge says there is not enough evidence to prosicute can he sue me the parent for legal costs

I agree with Mr. Dinday. I'm curious, though, why you think the defendant might sue you. Are you the one who reported him to the police? Even if you are, and even if the judge decides the evidence is insufficient, that would not give the defendant grounds to sue. If you believed he was guilty, it's not your fault that the evidence didn't satisfy the judge.
