Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My daughter's boyfriend has a felony conviction for drug sales. He recently got two speeding tickets. It says on line that they have a bail quote and a bail enhancement. Do you think he will be arrested now and put back in jail for a period of time?

Not unless he's still on probation or parole. Hope she gets a non-loser boyfriend.

The bail amount on a traffic ticket is the fine. When you pay a traffic ticket, you are forfeiting bail.

As long as it is a simple traffic infraction, he cannot be arrested unless he fails to go to court. A traffic infraction cannot be used to violate someone's probation.

I wonder if Mr. Stone's clients who are accused or convicted of drug sales know he thinks they're "losers." With that attitude, maybe he should consider a different career.
